The Shelter Fund was established to assist members of the community who have experienced hardship due to unforeseen disasters such as fire or flooding. Intended to help those who suddenly find themselves without shelter, funds are generally granted for specific cases of need, and recipients are identified at the discretion of the CFLC Board of Directors on a year-round basis. Please note that Shelter Fund assistance is typically only available for Lincoln County residents who have lost their places of residence due to specific events or disasters such as fire and flooding. For rent assistance that does not fall into this category, residents are encouraged to contact Christian Services (575-257-4381) or the local chapter of the Salvation Army. 

 

Salvation Army assistance forms can be downloaded and printed by clicking the button below, and applications need to be dropped off in person at Cornerstone Bakery at 1712 Sudderth Drive, in Ruidoso. Please call (575) 257-1842 to speak with someone about Salvation Army rent assistance.
