

SCHOLARSHIPS
The Community Foundation Of Lincoln County (CFLC) manages many scholarship funds with individual goals. These have provided scholarships to a wide variety of students from Lincoln and Otero Counties.
Through 2022 funds provided for scholarships and critical needs for schools amount to over $189,750.
Students are encouraged to reach out to their guidance counselors or the scholarship departments at their respective schools to acquire applications and learn more about these opportunities.
Below is a listing of the donor endowments that help High School Seniors with scholarships towards higher education:
Betty J. Bennett Trust Scholarship Endowment Fund
Scholarship Fund to students at Eastern New Mexico University - Ruidoso
Established 2020.
Coach Bob Cerny Memorial Scholarship Fund
Annual scholarship to one graduating senior at Tularosa High School
Over $11,500 has been donated since 2009.
Burdine Family ENMU - Ruidoso Endowment Scholarship Fund
Annual scholarship awarded to students at Eastern New Mexico University - Ruidoso.
Over $18,000 has been donated since 2009.
The Community Foundation of Lincoln County Scholarship
Annual summer scholarship awarded to students at Eastern New Mexico University - Ruidoso.
Over $3,000 has been donated since 2014.
Corona Land Owner's Scholarships and School Enrichment
Aid to the school and annual scholarships awarded at Corona High School
Over $100,500 has been donated since 2013.
Eddy McMinn, Vivian & Staci Belmont (McMinn),
& Daena Johnson Memorial Scholarship.
Annual scholarship awarded to students at Eastern New Mexico University - Ruidoso.
Over $5,250 has been donated since 2016.
Glen Crane Memorial Scholarship
$15,250 has been donated by the Glen Crane Memorial Scholarship, to date.
Lincoln County Arts Scholarship Fund
Annual scholarship to one graduating senior at Ruidoso High School
Over $2,000 has been donated since 2019.
CFLC ARTS SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:

Student must be a graduating High School Senior in Lincoln County, New Mexico.

Applicants will be considered for achievement in Fine or Performing Arts.

Applicants should be planning to pursue higher education in the arts.

Fine Arts include, but are not limited to: graphic design, fashion, fiber arts, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, jewelry design, architecture and other forms of expression.

Performing Arts include, but are not limited to: poetry, music, drama, literature, oration, and dance.

All applications require a recommendation from a teacher, counselor or mentor.

Application deadline is April 1. Scholarship is awarded by May 1.

Annual scholarship awarded to students at Eastern New Mexico University - Ruidoso.
Over $4,000 has been donated since 2017.
Robert G.Woodard Memorial Scholarship
Annual scholarship to one graduating senior at Carrizozo High School
Over $8,500 has been donated since 2006.
Vickie S. Lawrence Scholarship
Annual scholarship to one graduating senior at Tularosa High School
Over $4,000 has been donated since 2011.
Scholarship Totals: $189,750.
